Hypertension is a complex and unpredictable disease. High blood pressure leads to a violation of the integrity of blood vessels, which entails many serious consequences. Arterial hypertension is manifested by headache and heart pain, visual impairment, heaviness in the back of the head, nosebleeds, and insomnia. People suffering from this pathology always have a tonometer at hand and know many recipes to lower blood pressure without resorting to the help of a doctor.

There are various folk recipes that help control blood pressure on the walls of the arteries. Propolis is one of these effective remedies.

    Folk remedies for pressure

In the spring, bees begin to produce this substance. It can range in color from yellow to brown and is a storehouse of vitamins and minerals. A feature of this raw material is that it does not lose its useful properties during heat treatment.

Even today, scientists have not been able to explore all the possibilities of propolis. And all because of the richness of the composition and the unusual ability to fight a wide variety of diseases.

The healing effect of propolis on the cardiovascular system has been known since ancient times. And in the 80s of the last century, official medicine proved the hypotensive effect of this substance. S. Nikolov, together with other scientists, conducted research.

Patients with hypertension II and III degree were given an alcohol solution of propolis three times a day for twenty days. As a result, in more than 80% of patients, blood pressure on the walls of blood vessels decreased. However, none of the patients experienced any side effects.

Many traditional healers recommend blood pressure lowering recipes for hypertension using propolis along with other bee products. So, if it is combined with bee venom, it will help reduce the amount of cholesterol deposits on the walls of the arteries. As a result, blood permeability will improve, its pressure on the vessel membrane will decrease.

In addition, the following remedies help to cope with hypertension:

    1. Foot massage. You will need to prepare an ointment from one tablespoon of honey, five grams of propolis and fifteen grams of homemade butter. This mixture is melted in a water bath, mixed well until smooth, after cooling it is stored in the refrigerator. Such an ointment should be massaged every evening. After the procedure, you must wear woolen socks on your feet.
    2. Cowberry infusion. You will need to mix 100 grams of lingonberry juice and 60 grams of propolis alcohol tincture. This mixture should be consumed three times a day, a teaspoon half an hour before meals. This composition not only helps to lower high blood pressure, but is also a diuretic and tonic.
    3. Hawthorn tincture for hypertension. You will need raw materials in the following ratio: four parts of hawthorn berries, the same number of rose hips, two parts of dill seeds. Three spoons of this collection should be poured with a liter of hot water and left for three hours. The finished mixture should be filtered. Use a tincture of hypertension 200 grams three times a day before meals, adding 25 drops of propolis alcohol tincture to a glass. Such a decoction not only stabilizes blood pressure, but is also a good sedative.

    Alcohol tincture of propolis

Propolis combined with alcohol shows a good hypotensive effect.

Its advantage is that it is not required to prepare a large amount of the substance. This remedy is used in small doses. To make an alcohol infusion, you need to dissolve ten grams of crushed propolis in one hundred grams of medical alcohol. The resulting mixture is poured into a glass container, sealed well and sent to a dark, cool place for ten days. It needs to be shaken daily. Such a solution can have healing effects for three years.

To treat hypertension, you need to dilute twenty drops of the tincture in one hundred grams of water and drink one hour before meals in the morning.

To get rid of high blood pressure, it is recommended to use the remedy for one month. At first, depending on the individual characteristics of the body, the patient may feel drowsiness or a surge of energy. Based on these indicators, you can change the time of taking the medicine. In addition to hypertension, an alcohol mixture of propolis perfectly strengthens the immune system, copes well with influenza, ENT diseases, acute respiratory infections, ulcers, and colitis.

In the treatment, in addition to propolis tincture, with hypertension, a diet should be followed. The diet should be dominated by low-calorie foods with a lot of fiber.

The advantage of propolis recipes and tinctures for hypertension is the fact that they do not interact with drugs. You can use the mixture regardless of age and the presence of pathologies. The only exception is individual intolerance or allergy.
