    Rosehip lowers or raises blood pressure?



    Many have seen beautiful bushes with scarlet fruits, but few people know: rose hips increase or decrease blood pressure. The healing properties of wild rose have been appreciated since ancient times. So, the great healer Avicenna in his writings pointed out the healing possibilities of this plant and methods of application. Although the Himalaya region is considered the birthplace of such a shrub, today it is impossible to imagine any area without its growth.

    Rosehip, which is popularly known as wild rose, is used in folk medicine for many diseases. In particular, it helps control blood pressure.

They are harvested in autumn, before the first frost. The dried product, when properly stored, does not lose its useful properties for two years.

    Rose hips were re-evaluated after the discovery of vitamins. The high content of ascorbic acid, vitamins A, P, E, K, B2, pectins, acids, sugars and other useful trace elements made it a truly unique medicinal plant.

Much depends on the liquid on the basis of which the drug is made, and additional components. For example, if a rosehip drug is prepared with water, it has the ability to lower blood pressure in hypertension. In the case when the drug has an alcohol base, it can significantly increase the pressure.

    Although herbal remedies are not considered dangerous, doctors do not recommend long-term treatment with rose hips. Prolonged use of infusions and decoctions from this plant can adversely affect the performance of the liver, intestines, disrupt blood flow.

    Fruits at high pressure

    People with consistently high blood pressure should pay attention to the fruits of this shrub. During the ripening of nuts, it is recommended to use them fifteen to twenty pieces at a time.

    1. Infusion of dry berries. To prepare it, 100 grams of dry wild rose fruits should be washed well, put in a thermos, pour half a liter of boiling water, leave for about three hours. After this, the infusion should be filtered, used for arterial hypertension, one hundred grams three to four times throughout the day. Steamed fruits can not be thrown away, but pour boiling water again.
    2. Fresh tincture. Freshly picked nuts must be washed, cleaned of seeds, chopped and poured with hot water in a ratio of 2 tbsp. l. product per 200 gr. water. Let stand for two hours, strain. Use for hypertension, 100 grams an hour after eating. From the same products, you can prepare a decoction. It is also effective at high pressure.
    3. Collective tincture. With increased pressure, you will need to take two parts of wild rose with hawthorn and one part of cranberries with mountain ash. Mix all berries. In the process of cooking, you need to take one hundred grams of the mixture and pour a glass of very hot water. Leave for thirty minutes and strain. Use for hypertension, 50 grams half an hour before meals.
    4. Infusion of wild rose and hawthorn. You need to take one tablespoon of wild rose fruits and the same amount of hawthorn. Pour a glass of water, bring to a boil and leave to cool. This is a single serving. Drink the decoction immediately before going to bed.
    5. Healing mix. You will need to grind in a blender: one unpeeled lemon, 1 tbsp. l. cranberries and the same amount of wild rose. In the resulting mass, add a glass of liquid honey and mix everything well. This mixture is recommended for hypertension to use one spoonful twice a day.

    With low blood pressure, a person may feel dizzy, nausea, headache, weakness, fatigue. Also, with hypotension, memory impairment, pain in the chest area are possible, the patient feels a constant lack of air and cold extremities. Rosehip will quickly help to cope with this condition.

    Rosehip decoctionRecipes for low blood pressure:

    1. You will need to prepare a decoction of two tablespoons of rose hips and two glasses of water, remove the berries, and put four tablespoons of sage in their place, close and leave for another thirty minutes. Then the drink should be filtered and used for arterial hypotension, 1 tsp. every two hours.
    2. For alcohol tincture, one hundred grams of wild rose fruits should be crushed, put in a jar and pour two glasses of 40 degree vodka. Seal the container well and put in a dark place for a week and a half. Over time, this mixture is consumed half a teaspoon half an hour before meals. The course of treatment is three weeks. This tincture not only helps to cope with hypotension, but is also a good general tonic.
    3. For this recipe, you will need to prepare a rosehip broth. In addition, you need to take two or three medium-sized lemons and grind in a meat grinder without peeling. The citrus mixture should be put in a jar, pour in the tincture, close well and refrigerate for two days (shake from time to time). After the required time, add two glasses of honey to the jar, mix well and leave in the cold for another two days. This medicine is used in 50 gr. before meals.

    TeethLike most medicines, rosehip preparations have their own contraindications. So, such infusions are not recommended to be taken with pathologies of the stomach, liver, a tendency to thrombosis, and diseases of the teeth.
