Symptoms of cardioneurosis
Content
With the diagnosis of "cardioneurosis", the symptoms and treatment are identified and prescribed after comprehensive studies.
Treatment of cardioneurosis is a complex and time-consuming process. This disease is characterized by a violation of the activity of the cardiovascular system, which is caused by a psychosomatic deviation or nervous exhaustion. The disease is one of the types of cortico-vegetative neurosis.
It is difficult to diagnose this disease, as the symptoms resemble those of many other diseases. Several doctors are involved in the treatment of cardioneurosis at once: a cardiologist, a neuropathologist, a psychiatrist.
Causes of pathology
The main symptoms of cardioneurosis include chest pain, anxiety, and trouble breathing.
The reason for the development of pathology is an imbalance between the hypothalamic centers and the natural processes occurring in the cerebral cortex.
Cause an attack of cardioneurosis can:
- severe stress;
- experience;
- strong alcohol;
- a big joy;
- fear and many other factors.
Since a strong emotional manifestation can lead to an attack, most often the clinical and morphological transformations characteristic of cardioneurosis are observed in people with psychoemotional disorders.
Also, cardioneurosis can be provoked by constant overwork, abuse of alcohol and drinks, which include caffeine. A person's physical condition plays an important role in the development of the disease. In people who lead an active lifestyle, such a pathology is very rarely diagnosed.
The risk group includes people:
- young age with psycho-emotional disorders;
- elderly with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's;
- patients with cardiovascular diseases.
Very often, signs of cardioneurosis are observed in patients who have had a bacterial infection. Such patients are prescribed multivitamin complexes that improve the functioning of neurohumoral regulation structures.
Symptoms of the disease
The main manifestation of the disease is chest pain. It can have different intensity, but most often patients characterize it as acute, occurring suddenly, accompanied by a feeling of cardiac arrest, after which it begins to beat very often. Often the pain radiates to the neck, shoulder blade, arm.
In addition, the following symptoms may be observed:
- Respiratory disorders. There may be an attack of suffocation or the inability to take a full breath.
- Temperature increase. The patient's body temperature may rise significantly, while no inflammatory processes are observed.
- Panic. Against the background of cardialgia, a panic attack may occur. At the same time, a person's sweating increases, the skin becomes cold, and tingling in the limbs is felt.
The course of the disease is characterized by often alternating stages of attacks and normal well-being.
With a long-term illness, depressive psychosis appears, in which obsessions, anxiety, and dysthymic disorders occur. As a rule, patients do not attach importance to the psycho-emotional state. They are more focused on pain in the area of the ore cage.
Dysthymia is expressed by such signs:
- lack of any attraction;
- depression;
- insomnia;
- general poor health;
- lack of appetite.
After attacks of cardioneurosis, patients may experience a lack of sensitivity in certain areas of the body, headache, weakness, dizziness (indicating a violation of blood circulation in the arteries of the brain).
Diagnosis and treatment of the disease
Symptoms of cardioneurosis are similar to many other diseases. Differential diagnosis is aimed at excluding such pathologies as angina pectoris, osteochondrosis, thyroid dysfunction, myocarditis.
To refute the presence of these diseases, the doctor may prescribe:
- electrocardiogram:
- x-ray of the spine;
- daily monitoring of blood pressure, pulse, heart rate;
- ultrasound examination of the thyroid gland;
- blood analysis.
After the exclusion of other possible pathologies, treatment is prescribed. Therapy is carried out with a joint consultation of a cardiologist, therapist, psychoneurologist.
At the initial stage, it is recommended to normalize the daily routine, completely eliminate excessive physical activity, and establish a sufficiently long night's rest. For this, the doctor may prescribe sleeping pills and sedative pharmacological preparations on a plant basis.
For this, methods of mental therapy are used, aimed at normalizing the microclimate in the personal environment.
The elimination of such physical symptoms as spasm is achieved through massage and other physiotherapeutic procedures. These same activities contribute to the elimination of mental discomfort. In any case, the treatment of cardioneurosis is long.
During treatment, patients are advised to:
- avoid anxiety;
- avoid physical overvoltage;
- do not forget about walks in the fresh air;
- include in the schedule of sports;
- take a daily contrast shower;
- do not eat spicy foods and foods containing caffeine, alcohol;
- eat the last time three hours before bedtime;
- give up smoking.
First aid for an attack
An attack of neurosis of the heart always overtakes unexpectedly. Very often people are simply "lost" and do not know how to help a person.
In this case, you need to perform several actions:
- Remove the patient to a well-ventilated area or open a window.
- Lay on a flat surface and ensure complete rest.
- Drop any soothing alcohol preparation (Valocordin, Valerian, Motherwort) into a spoon and force the person to drink.
- Measure pulse and pressure.
- Make a massage of the collar zone, limbs.
An attack of cardioneurosis cannot be ignored. Be sure to see a doctor and get tested.
Prevention and consequences of cardioneurosis
Nobody is immune from this disease.
With a genetic predisposition, you need to be attentive to your mental and physical health:
- To minimize the possibility of cardioneurosis, stress and conflict should be avoided.
- In the daily diet, there must be foods containing vitamins of group B and Mg. These substances help to strengthen the nervous system.
In a chronic relapsing course, it is rare to completely get rid of the symptoms. In such patients, suspiciousness, anxiety, irritability are observed. If the doctor's recommendations are not followed, the development of complex diseases (angina pectoris, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and so on) is possible.
Alternative methods of treatment of cardioneurosis
Breathing exercises are very useful (slowly inhale and hold the air for as long as possible). Such exercises increase blood flow to the organs, thereby calming the "nervous" heart.
In addition, medications help to cope with the disease:
- It is necessary to take in equal proportions crushed valerian root, motherwort, dry mint leaves, hawthorn berries. This collection mixes well. One tablespoon of this composition is poured with one glass of hot water and infused for half an hour. Then the infusion should be filtered, consumed 1 spoon three times a day for one week.
- Grind the Siberian patrician root, put it in a glass dish and pour vodka in the ratio of 100 grams of the root to 500 grams of alcohol. Infuse for 21 days, use the drug for 1 tsp, mixing with a glass of water twice a day.
- It is necessary to mix 10 grams of horsetail, 15 grams of bird mountaineer, 25 grams of dry hawthorn flowers. This mixture is poured with one liter of water, placed in a water bath and simmered for about half an hour. This infusion is used daily at 50 grams.
- Such a remedy will help relieve the symptoms of cardioneurosis. It is necessary to combine in equal proportions the crushed roots of calamus and valerian, common hop cones and oregano. Take one tablespoon of this composition and pour a glass of boiling water. Leave for 40 minutes, add a spoonful of honey, divide this portion into two times (100 grams in the morning and the same amount in the evening). It is necessary to be treated with this drug for seven days.
The right lifestyle is a guarantee that cardioneurosis will never appear. Learn to correctly distribute rest and work, avoid stress and physical overload. Enjoy life, and then everything will be fine!
