Rapid heartbeat after eating
[block id="18"][block id="17"] [block id="3"]Certain drinks and foods increase the heart rate. Most often, signs of tachycardia are felt after taking alcohol.
This can happen under the influence of:
- caffeine. It is found in coffee, tea, chocolate, energy and sugary carbonated drinks.
- Medicines used to treat asthma, colds, or allergic reactions.
- smoking.
- Vitamin supplements like bitter orange, ephedra, ginseng, valerian, hawthorn.
There are also conditions that provoke an increase in heart rate. This is facilitated by low blood pressure, insufficient amount of sugar in the blood, pathology of the thyroid gland and heart.
In pregnant women, the problem is associated with fetal pressure on the vessels, an increase in the amount of circulating blood.
Even if tachycardia occurs after eating, you need to be examined, especially when chest pains, breathing difficulties, weakness and dizziness have joined the frequent heartbeat.
In order not to be disturbed by tachycardia, it is recommended:
- Refuse “bad” foods that increase the load on the heart.
- Avoid bad habits.
- Control blood sugar.
- Avoid stress and anxiety.
An increase in heart rate often indicates a serious illness, so it is important to see a doctor right away.
